Driven by her enduring love of magical and mythic fiction, Shivangi has now ventured into the world of fantasy writing.

Residing with her family in the bustling heart of Mumbai, she can often be found lost in thought, sipping coffee and spinning stories in the city’s local bistros.

Her interests range from Poetry to Fantasy, from the verses of Pushkin to the realms of Tolkien, from the lyricism of Ramayana to the epic grandeur of Mahabharata and beyond. Her all-time favorites include Katherine Arden’s Bear and the nightingale, Erin Morgenstern’s The night circus and Diana Wynne Jones’ Howl’s moving castle- both book and anime (She is a Ghibli enthusiast).

‘Seven turns here, Seven turns there’ is her debut fantasy novel (Work in progress). A first, in ‘The Time’ duo-logy.
